Senseo Dark Roast

We have a lot of heavy coffee drinkers who appreciate very strong coffee. Senseo Dark Roast satisfies them and gives them the richness and boldness of very fine coffee.

We really enjoy the dark roast of these coffee pods, however, the only drawback is you always have to use 2 pods because one does not make enough coffee so in that respect they need to make larger bags of pods as they do go pretty fast and are quite expensive.

I've used these filters for about 2 years now for my Braun coffee maker and have always had to order them online. I was so happy to have found them available at Amazon.com. Bad water made right.

We have the worlds worst water and can't believe the taste of coffee with these filters. What a difference.

Hard to find Item

I was so pleased to find the filter for my coffee maker at Amazon. I had gone to the store where I had purchased the Braun appliance, and to my surprise, was told that they did not carry replacement filters for the Coffee maker. The delivery time of my purchase was prompt. I was not surprised by some bait and switch scheme it was exactly what I needed. Thanks for the positive online experience

Senseo HD7810/65 Single Serve Coffee Machine, Black

Uniquely designed with similarities to an espresso machine, this coffee maker features a 1450-watt boiler that brews a 4-ounce cup of coffee in just thirty seconds, or two 4-ounce cups or one 8-ounce mug in 60 seconds. Because the machine uses pre-measured coffee pods, the system is hassle-free, easy to clean, and guarantees a flavorful, fresh brew each time.

Measuring 13-1/2 by 12 by 8-1/2 inches, the coffee maker is shaped like a curved cylinder with a round base. Undoubtedly, the WORST product I've ever owned

This is a piece of junk. I can't believe I'm out $50. Not only does it make terrible tasting, overly dark, bitter coffee- today the lid became vacuum-sealed to the top, and couldn't even be pried open with a knife.

I placed it in a garbage bag and smashed it with my foot into hundreds of pieces.

Any positive review you have read about this hunk of crap was undeoubtedly written by a Senseo employee.

The foam adds an interesting element to the coffee brew. While it may not be the elusive crema sought by some, it adds texture to the cup. Overall the Senseo is a very good single cup coffee machine. Combined with an excellent dark roast coffee it is very presentable.

'Bucks Junkie Approves

I am a Starbucks Coffee Junkie. Like other reviewers, I hesitated before making the jump to a single-serving pod coffee maker. I now report that the Senseo has replaced my Starbucks Barista drip coffee maker. The coffee is excellent (although more varieties would be appreciated) and the Senseo machine is high quality (much better than similar Black-and-Decker systems). For convenience sake, the Senseo pods are ideal: coffee is always fresh and hot. I have not experienced a problem with the unit at high elevations and am now completely addicted to my Senseo. After I purchased my first unit, I purchased another for work. (FYI: Amazon.com has the best prices on the actual coffee pods, especially with Prime.) Loooooove this machine.

MMMmmm Good!

This is great! Works great! I used my mom's recipe from my youth! It evoked great memories - and so much easier. No salt, no ice.

WOW! Homemade IceCream!

This made the best ice cream! My first batch I didn't let cool long enough before putting it in, but I was anxious for some chocolate ice cream. LOL! After mixing and then putting it in the freezer, it came out wonderful. Note made to myself - Make sure to cool long enough.

My second batch cooled enough before I put it in and it came out soft serve fairly quickly. I made Mint Chocolate Chip.

I can't wait to make other flavors. :)
